Auli Ropeway is the major attraction in Auli offering magnificent and majestic Himalayan views. A highest and longest ropeway in Asia after Gulmarg, Auli cable car covers a distance of 4.15 kms. Auli cable car also called locally as Gondola and connects Auli with Joshimath. Located at 3016.3 mtrs above sea level, Auli is one of the best skiing and paragliding destination in India recieving large number of tourist.

| Safety Features: | Remote controlled hydraulic & pneumatic braking system has been provided to stop the cabins soon as any problem arises. Most sophisticated electrical & electronic circuitry with telemetry and storm warning devices has been incorporated to minimize human error. Diesel engine has been provided to bring the cabins to their respective destination in case of complete power failure. If the system fails completely, escape route from the cabin has been given from where the passengers can descend by rope. The cabin attendant keeps constant touch with control room through the cabin telephone/ Walky talky. |
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Compensation liability is limited to claims (Rs. 2 Lakh) payable by the Insurance Company.
- Right of admission reserved.
- Passengers would undertake travel by the Ropeway at their own risk.
- Only 10 Kgs baggage is allowed with each passenger.
- Due to technical reasons, scheduled trip timings can be altered/ cancelled. Please confirm your trip timing from information counter.
- Entry of armed body guard, carrying of arms, explosive material and pets are strictly prohibited inside the cable car.
- When the cable car is at standstill, please follow the instructions of operating staff.
- Movement of passengers inside the cable car during travel is strictly prohibited.
- Smoking inside the cable car is strictly prohibited.
- Throwing out of empty packets/bottles, wrappers etc. from the cable car window is strictly prohibited.
- Passengers are requested to reach their respective boarding platform well before given departure time/ trip no., failing which they will be solely responsible for not availing their journey.
- Tickets are non-refundable, however, if due to un-avoidable circumstances journey cannot be made, amount will be refunded.
- Operation of any trip is possible subject to availability of minimum ten (10) passengers. (Capacity/cabin- 25 passengers)
- Children above five (5) years will be charged full ticket fare.
- Provision of one way ticket is not allowed.
- GMVN reserves the right, without assigning any reasons, to cancel, advance, reschedule or delay the commencement or continuance of the Ropeway without incurring any liability in damages or otherwise to the passengers or any other person on any ground whatsoever. The company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whom it considers unfit for travel.
- Ticket is non-refundable, date of journey can not be reschedule.
- All Passengers should report one hour before scheduled timeslot.

– Ticket as printed from portal
– Passengerwise ID proof as submitted at the time of online booking - Only original full ticket printed from portal is valid. Screenshot of printed ticket/ half printed ticket will be considered as fake ticket.
- If any ticket found fake or duplicate will not be allowed to Ropeway ride.
